I decided to try something different.
Since this is the first year in ages that I haven't had exams on the go (did I mention I passed the final set of tax exams? No? Well I was a bit shocked at it myself, couldn't quite believe it when I saw my name online. It didn't really sink in that I'd qualified until the Tax Institute invoiced me for my registration fees, heh!)
Anyway, since I wasn't going to be attending lectures or avoiding studying, I thought I'd finally get a chance to try some night classes.
Took a lot of thinking before I decided what to do, and my only criteria was that it would have absolutely no relevence whatsover to accountancy or taxation.
So I started Salsa dancing classes and boy my feet hurt! Only a few classes so far, but it's fun!
And to add to that, I also started attending a class in West African Hand Drums. Equally fun, although I had to promise my flatmate that I wouldn't be bringing any home with me to practice on (spoilsport!)
Of course to add to the 'fun', October and the first 2 weeks of November are the busiest times for me at work...which of course means that my mind is totally buzzing with fic ideas (it never rains etc)
(for any of you who haven't done so, feel free to check out my fanfic community
Ceindreadh and her fic next time you're feeling bored.
