I'm not usually one for resolutions, although I admit that last years 3 were reasonably sucessful, so I think I'll stick with them again.
I am lighter than I was on 1 Jan 04 - okay, it's only a pound or two, but it still counts!
I owe a little less than I did.
And I've been going to the gym, so I'm pretty sure I'm fitter than I was.

So that's 3 of them sorted out. Number 4 is going to be that I'm going to keep my livejournal up to date a little more frequently than before - not a difficult one to keep since I only made a handful of entries in 2004 - just means I have to make a larger handful.

And oh yes, I might possibly be moving house in a month or so.
Spent New Years Eve with a close friend from college - not Wyvernfriend, the other one.
And she happened to mention that she was thinking of moving. And I was having thoughts of moving as well - been a little unsettled here since the burglary - so we're sort of agreed that as soon as things settle down in January then we're going to be on the lookout for a two-bedroomed place.
I'm not too worried about finding a place (famous last words!) but the prospect of actually packing up all my bits and pieces and carting them across the city *is* a bit daunting. Not to mention the prospect of cleaning out my current room sufficiently in order to convince some sucker to move in.

It looks like I'm not the only one with plans in that direction, as one of my housemates is also planning on getting out.
I can only imagine the fun the remaining 2 in the house - plus whatever replacements we get - will have in trying to sort out bills and things. As it stands, I'm the idiot who takes charge of nagging people to pay their share of phone/ESB/NTL.
At least none of them are in *my* name, so I won't have to worry about my credit rating being screwed up if they get into arrears.

Anyway, Happy New Year to all and sundry!
