(sighs) It's been 15 years since I did the Leaving Cert, and pretty near every year since then I've been doing exams. Whether University, or ACCA or Tax, but there's always been something. And I'm sick of it.
I'm sitting a Tax Management paper on Friday. I'm totally unprepared for it, and if I fail it this time then I'll lose my credits for other exams and have to resit them. And since I gained those credits 2 years ago, if I need to resit them, I'll also need to retake the lectures and pay for them again.
You'd think that that would be adequate incentive to study, but no.
The truth is, I just don't care anymore whether I pass the exams or not.
And win lose or draw, that's it, I don't plan on sitting any more exams in the near future that relate to Accountancy or Tax or stuff like that (well, maybe the ones for a practicing certificate, but that's another story)
I might do some night classes in stuff that has nothing to do with numbers and figures, just for the fun of it. But nothing too heavy.
Of course since I'll be most likely pulling a lot of overtime in October, that might have to be postponed as well. But I'll see what happens.
